No other Florida Process Server or legal support agency offers the level of skip tracing abilities we do. We use the most up-to-date STATE OF THE INDUSTRY skip tracing tools, not easily available without first submitting to proper background checks.
MID FLORIDA COURT SERVICES LLC will perform a 6 point skip trace on defendants or witnesses that are not found for service. Using these methods, we are successful locating over 90 percent of hard-to-find defendants or witnesses.
Our skip tracing services are also helpful to those holding a money judgment on someone, which they cannot locate for collection purposes. This could be due to a previous lawsuit or Eviction action.
We will then contact you and advise we have found a probable new address for service of your defendant or witness. You will then have the option to authorise us to proceed to the new address, after providing pre-payment for Service of Process attempts at the new address.
Florida attorneys needing to locate someone for the purpose of litigation can contact our office, and we will provide this service, with the stipulation the attorney provides the following information: Court Case number, Court name, Attorney name and Bar number.
Please note: Due to federal and state privacy laws and regulations, we ONLY provide skip tracing services to assist with Process Service. We cannot and will not release the information we obtain in the process of skip tracing to anyone outside our office, including clients, unless they have a judgment from a court of jurisdiction and are seeking someone for the purposes of collection of said judgment.
We are legally bound and responsbile for how we use the information we obtain.
Please feel free to contact our office with any questions you may have.
Our Florida Process Servers use car-mounted mobile data computers, which connect them to multiple data sources including Motor vehicle records, driver license records, criminal history, court records and other records, whilst in the field. This allows us to be more informed and quickly detect whether someone is being truthful with us.
In addition to our Vehicle mounted Mobile Data Computers, our Process Servers carry tablets or smartphones, which allow them to log attempts to serve every case using our app, including time-stamped GPS coordinates. The service agent will also take a photo of each location on the first attempt, which will also include time-stamped GPS information.
Our state-of-the-art dispatch centre staff prepares cases before they enter the field, with the most accurate information we can obtain, to give our Florida Process Service agents the best idea of what to look for when they arrive at the service address. This office also supports the servers in the field, by contacting clients to obtain any information we do not already have on the target defenda
In addition to locating a defendant or witness, we also utilise our skip tracing tools and databases to verify information when attempting Service of Process.
This may include verifying information given during an attempt by someone at the door of a location who advises us that the defendant or witness we are attempting to serve no longer lives at the address.
We verify this infomation via Motor Vehicle Registration information for any vehicles we observed on the property at the time of attempt, as well as driver license, and property deed records, which we compare to the information given at the door.
The United States Postal Service provides information to Process Servers for the purposes of serving court process. This is the ONLY reason the USPS will verify a postal customer information.
Often the court will use this information to prove diligence on the part of the Process Server, and grant a default judgment if the defendant fails to appear.
